Casa no Couto

Casa no Couto, a single-family home of contemporary architecture set in the Alentejo landscape, among holm-oak and cork-oak groves. The house is organized around an interior courtyard with a centuries-old olive tree, combining the memory of the region’s rural hunting and farming traditions with the comfort and amenities of a modern home. The visualizations highlight the relationship between the rammed-earth/concrete volume and the surrounding landscape, the living spaces with a fireplace and solid-wood furniture, and the views over the Alentejo plain through large glazed openings.
